Privacy Notice

How INVRT Limited handles the personal data you share through this site.

Who we are

INVRT Limited is a company registered in Ireland and is the controller of any personal data collected through invrt.io. You can reach us about anything in this notice at paul@invrt.co.

What we collect and why

If you use the contact form we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, company, role, areas of interest and your message. We use them for one purpose, to respond to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss working together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us, and, where a conversation leads towards an engagement, the steps needed to enter into a contract with you.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address goes directly to Substack, which runs the subscription under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store it on this site.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking. Its fonts and scripts are served from invrt.io, so visiting a page sends nothing to third parties.

Who processes it

Contact form submissions are delivered to us by Formcarry, a form processing service that stores data in data centres in the European Union, under its data processing agreement. Its email delivery provider is based in the United States and is covered by standard contractual clauses, as set out in that agreement. Formcarry keeps a copy of each submission in our account so that it can be delivered; we delete these copies in line with the retention period below.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and for up to two years afterwards, in case the conversation resumes. If an engagement follows, the details become part of our client records and are kept for the life of the engagement and the period required by Irish company and tax law. We do not sell or share your details with anyone else.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing of it, or ask us to restrict it. Email paul@invrt.co and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
